Christmas in New York City

We decided it would be nice to take a trip to NYC to see the Christmas lights and do a little shopping. We had planned to go on a weekend but we were warned that it would be a madhouse. We went on a Monday and it was still a madhouse. But it was also beautiful. No mangers, no baby Jesus, just pure American consumerism! But the lights are pretty!

The day started with Aimee and Grace going shopping at the HUGE Toys-R-Us while Raina and I went to see the 'Bodies' exhibit. Never thought I would go and see a bunch of human bodies chopped up and on display. But it was pretty cool!

We shared a large piece of cheesecake at a nice little restaurant.

2 English Mastiffs resting outside the restaurant where we ate. Aimee and I had an English Mastiff once so we stopped to pet them. Now we're considering another one!
